NO american pop punk, this is proper punk. Will be a good laugh, £1.65 for guinness, £1.29 all day for carlsberg.
Admittedly, it won't be to everyone's taste!

Missed it!! did anybody go? if so any good? i sometimes pop in the lair on a sunday evening, must admit that would have been a shock to the system!! thought it was ric owen on a sunday or was he headlining later on

It's been tried many time's in Hull , Ringside Was the last time I played at one ,A kid called nige ran it . You would find also the younger kids come to see there mates band , Then fook off and not even stay for the band that's just hiked 300 miles to play.

Indeed, think it happens everywhere. Same thing happened in Hartlepool on Friday night, apparantly.

Know what you mean Bones, had 100 kids stood outside at Hartlepool until their mates band came back on. Wasn't like that at The Lair, the crowd stayed for all four acts and it exceeded all of our expectations. Unlike Ringside, we didn't have a promoter trying to make money off it, and we didn't have to pay a soundman. We did both jobs and gave all the money straight to the out of town bands.

Hopefully we'll be doing the last Sunday of every month there now, unless Hull are playing!

lol, I'd love that, although the last time we played with Slander we played so badly that we quit for a decade! After Sunday, I'm not sure Dave would say we'd improved any!

They were playing in 2008 & last year (saw a couple of great gigs they did at Adelphi last year), but looking at their website they don't have anything else planned for the time being

(got their debut album last year which is superb).

No never seen the S.T.I's, will see if there's any footage of them on that popular video sharing website.
