all i could here in the south stand near me was why did the ref pull us up we had the ball

simple hame back chatted to the ref resulting in them getting a try
but we had the ball he had no right to

Maybe they were not sure of the decision taken as many other people were not. I saw the backchat signal from the ref, however i never saw the ref talking to him before that.

I get that every play of the ball from an old dear sat behind me , granted she may be right on the odd occasion .
She has been sat behind me for 5 yrs now so im used to her, our lass's 2nd home game (testamonial) and she is fed up of her already

The ref was rubbish for both teams

The ref was a sh-t ask for all he got ..We saw a knock on over 100 yards away he missed it stood next to it the linesman had to tell him ..people pay good money to watch the game I expect better from the ref ..the mistakes they make no wonder played don't show them respect

Don't forget some of us see the game from different angles? I missed the knock on and thought we'd got away with murder - but I also think the ref lost control last night and ruined a really good contest. At times he looked lost and as a paying customer I think I have the right to question his decisions - if that's biased, then maybe I am?

I am a bit confused also - I think he is a muddled or young maybe - You support your team and the whole world (or ref) are always against you. First lesson for a FANATIC.

I was in South and agree with you on this one. Of course the refs sometimes get things wrong but every single decision that went against Hull it was as if he was only penalising us. Some of the stuff shouted at the ref from behind me was a disgrace last night.

I have watched games before that was on sky, in the ground you have you usual torrent of abuse all match then when you get home and watch it you notice how good a game the ref has had. The benfit of hindsight - better angles and replays.

Some people just need to give the ref a chance sometimes and realise it is quite a difficult task to get every decision right at the speed our game is played.

It is the right of every RL fan to slate a referee before during and after a game
