Interesting a sporting club taking a former chairman to court due to poor stewardship whilst in charge. It's one thing getting the team promoted to the top flight but another entirely then showing financial prudence and living within your means.

Anyway, at least he's a football fans who will be able to read the legal paperwork

it would be incredibly strange for a club to take a former member of staff to court for 'poor decision making' as it'd be very hard to prove (Duffen could easily argue he got the club promoted, and ensured they stayed up for example) so it seems something more sinister has happened (Pearson has had auditors looking at the clubs books)
