I do see Hull FC getting more than 17 points this season BUT the whole point of the season is to reach the SL grand Final or at least get to the challenge cup final. At least last year we had the Challenge cup final now we look like were not going to do either. I would of been happy if we reached the playoffs and had a good run like Wigan did last year but to not make the playoffs for a second year is just painful

Missing the playoffs for a second successive year is completely unacceptable.

Especially as there are 2 extra places!

That's only the SL record, though.

There is also the 4 Challenge Cup wins in R4, R5, QF and SF, compared to none this year. We are basically 4 wins and a draw off last year, with 7 games left (assuming strongly that we won't make the play-offs). Two of them games were against NL sides, so you could discount them, but you also have to bare in mind that we have two extra teams in the league this year of much lower quality, and we've still not improved. Had we had to play other teams instead of these four fixtures against Celtic and Salford, we would have won three less games most likely.

So for me, unless we make the (extended) play-offs, this season is worse than last season. And since we haven't beaten our worst SL season since the merger, then we should sack our coach!
