Amazes me that he is still under the illusion that the "4" we belong in is the top 4 and not the bottom!

Well we are joint 5th so we are at the right end of the table.

Lets get behind the boys this weekend and show the rest of the league that we mean business!

We still have a good enough squad to be top 2 imo. Whether we perform like it is a different matter.

I think it has the potential to be should we play to the right tactics and be on top of our game consistently.

What you have to bear in mind is that this is the same Big Dave T who claimed to me in the pub on saturday that Craig Hall is better than Matt Gidley.

You need to learn to listen properly mate. What i said was with ball in hand Craig Hall has the ability to do the little flicks etc that Gidley can do. You then decided to use your negative anti-Hull mindset to turn it into something i never said!!

What you have to bear in mind is that this is the same RBA who told me in the same pub on Saturday that Scott Wheeldon was a shoe in for starting prop for England next month!

Our squad is miles away from being as good as either of those sides, let alone better.

Ive said it all along and still believe it, whether anyone else does or not.

Full backs - R Horne and Motu not many better than either of these.
Wingers - Calderwood, Raynor and Briscoe all pretty good given the right service
Centres - Yeaman is class given the service, other spot is debatable.
Stand off - R Horne or Washy - we struggle in the halves
Scrum half - Thorman - worst 7 in the top 8 currently.
Props - match for any side in the league with Cusack, Dowes, Radford, Thacks, Maloney, Moa etc Can all lay the platform.
Hookers - Berro, Lee and Houghton, not many better in SL.
Second rows - Tickle, Manu and Burnett - do as good a job as anyone else in SL.
Loose Forward - Washy, top 3 or 4 in SL.

Only thing stopping the players above being top 2 or 3 is the way that they go out there as a team and play. imo!

I believe that i said he may be in the squad given that Tony Smith has said that he is going to give new players a chance. As far as "shoe ins" are concerned, i think i just reserved that for Briscoe, Fox, Welham, Colbon, Cooke and Murrell.

You only get slated by the sycophants, shouldn't worry about it bud, some people don't like (or value) honesty, hell, some even actively discourage it (if you know what I mean).

I don't share your opinion on the evaluation of the squad, any side still trotting out Radford, Tickle, G.Horne and the likes isn't going to trouble Saints or Leeds. (In my opinion, of course)

You rate our squad players but not the coaching or tactics. Many agree.
