I've not see enough of Webbo to say either way, but I dare say you've not seen a great deal of Thorman (who admittedly was poor the other day)

I think we should have kept him as cover, as he won't have been on massive wages, and would have helped out with the coaching when not in the first team.

instead we are left with one 'organiser' in the squad, who's so ineffective he'd spent the previous season at full back!

I like him as a player and would have kept him, especially as we didnt replace him with an organising play maker number 7.

Very disappointing we just dont seem to like having this type of player in the squad.

He's gone now so i'd wave some cash about to try sign one of the following. Robinson, Leuluai, Myler, Brough.

I agree, while he is not a world beater, he is a good quality scrum half who can get a team going, he is also quick (despite some comments about him being slow, we saw him score some good length tries) and has a good kicking game. One other plus is he can play hooker to a good level as well.

I can understand him being got rid of if you had better, but you haven't got anyone at the moment. Seems strange.

Seen a bit of him live + on Sky/BBC, but admittedly more at full-back then SH so far.

To be honest I wish we'd kept Webster, think he'd be an asset to many SL clubs.

Hull were spot on in not keeping Webbo, Thorman is a far better option.

Webster is playing in the National league 1 this season, says it all, if he was good enough for SL he would be still playing in it.

Thorman is a better player.

Why did a poor Huddersfield side last season let Thorman go without a fight?

Webster isn't good enough for Super League and Thorman is mid table standard at his best (which isn't very often!).

Decision to let Webbo go was the right one IMO.Too slow, weak in the tackle only plus is he sometimes has a decent kicking game.
