I know anything can happen in these games but having seen Rovers recent results they can obviously finish teams off and knock up some impressive scores.
We on the other hand struggle to do both !
Are we in for not only a heavy defeat in the derby but a sharp decline in league position ?

salford have conceded an average of 38 points a game, other than them the only team they have put a big score on is celtic, imo it will be a close game

Can't see past a Rovers win in the derby. Dobson's in great form and between him and Cooke they'll kick us to death. Their pack has surprised me this season as I only really rated Vella out of their forwards but they've done very well without him, and Fox is in excellent form also.

We have to win the Salford game as the CC represents our only chance of silverware. I'd settle for wins v Salford and Wakefield in the next 4, a derby win would be a bonus.

im concered about the fact we have 2 days less rest ,what a stupid decision to play sunday ,in a tight game this could be a real advantage to the dobbins

Galea would get into any SL side, Newton is a top class player, Fozzard is a very good prop, don't know how you come to the conclusion of only rating Vella.

Last season Galea played a fair bit at 6. Newton blew hot and cold. Fozzard is 32 and had been out pretty much all last season. What I was saying was that I didn't think, at the start of the season, you had a really strong pack. Results and performances this year without Vella indicate otherwise.

We play Salford next ,Not R*ers. I hope the team focus on this .

It's nice to see most of you have respect for Rovers this season, but please show a little more optimism, your setting us up to lose the derby, Hull will defy the odds and end up grinding out a victory etc

More concerned about Salford in the cup and where we are in the league after 28 rounds than about another 2 matches against them.............I would take a high league finish and 2 defeats off them tbh.

amazing a couple of defeats and the doom and gloom has already set in . a few weeks ago it was all raps about how we had a mentality about you score one try we will score two . hope no one is suicidal or they would be heading for the humber bridge reading most comments . lets see how we go against salford if we dont perform against them . i might worry about rovers . even so i still expect an fc win
