Some tough calls this week and the two I got wrong only lost by 2 and 8 points respectively.



Knights are mullering a poor looking Cowboys. Thought they might struggle without Gidley directing traffic.

I think the Tigers / Eels & the Titans /Manly games could go either way for me . The knights /Cowboys game could go close also.

To be fair the Dogs did fantastic. Without the Beast Cassiano, Pritchard, Graham the vampire, and Ben Barba.
Slater is superb all the same, although Bruce Lee would have been proud of that Kung Fu kick to the head.

Game of the season so far. Tough call on Slater for the foot up and the disallowed try for Cronk was a very poor call.

Storm are a machine but Bulldogs are not far behind, some big players to come back.

Cheers, was in a bad way this morning after last night so I didn't go in and missed the game, looking forward to the game tomorrow, fancy the Eels to win but not by much.

Will go to the Panthers v Souths match. Am a member of the Panthers Leagues Club and the ground is just down the highway from my home. Want to have a close up view of George Burgess who is currently in good form.

Played well again . Wolfman had a great chance to win it though .

Not the greatest of games this week but Jennings for the Chooks looks like he's finally getting his head sorted . He looks in good form .

Nervousness. After two pretty ordinary seasons they've forgotten how to close out games, yesterday's result will install confidence.
Still a long way to go though and young inexperienced halves means I don't expect them to compete at the back end of the season, but top 6 is definitely achievable, which will be an excellent season given the off-season we had.

Watched it when I got in this morning so I was rather persisted.

Looked a bit warmer there than over here in Blighty.
Young Burgess seemed to get plenty of game time off the bench. Looked to be solid if not spectacular.
John Sutton is like having an extra forward for the Rabbits made some good yards and a lovely inside ball for Inglis try.
Neither side were scared of getting over the line.

Want the best of games but i thought we was go sneak it at the end with wolfman but unfortunately he knocked on. I didn't think Lyon was at his best either but i read somewhere he was playing with a stomach bug.

Also when Matai broke through a gap to me he should of passed inside to Stewart instead of kicking it through to Taufua and poor execution cost us.

I prefer to say that great pressure by the defence caused bad decisions to be made.

I will agree with you and it was always going to be one of them tough physical games because both sides defences have been good this year up to now. Before this game Titans only conceded 12 points and Manly only conceded 14 points.

I also do like the Titans they are my second favourite team in the NRL behind Manly, when they dont play Manly i always go for them.

I like the look of there halves , If they both stay fit and with Bird and Zillman at the club , I think they'll only get better for the rest of the season .

Big improvement from the Raiders and it needed to be .

Was a little warmer- over 30C which affected the intensity of defense resulting in nearly 80 points being recorded.
Souths again switched off a couple of times enabling Penrith comebacks which is a habit they must eliminate if they aspire to be a premiership threat. They play the Bulldogs this Friday who will give them a real test-I am going to that one too.

George Burgess as you say had a solid game and certainly matched Sam's performance at prop.
