| I thought this thread was to discuss the actual game, or shall I voice my concern that the unemployment level in Hull currently stands at 5.9% when the national average is just 3.8%.  |

Was it they didn't get an academy licence or an elite license, I'm sure Bradford didn't get an elite licence and still run a academy and reserve.
Leigh also have a history of neglecting the academy in the past (im sure there was a year when they decided not to run one). So I think Leigh aren't as innocent as their fans make out. I suppose they get this season off but they have to run one next season, they have no excuses.

Still doesn't seem to be any official squad named by Leigh for tomorrow nights game, though reported than Dan Norman has come in early on loan.
So can only think that Leigh will likely have the same 17 minus Reynolds & Nesbit but with the inclusion of Norman for Nesbit and possibly Chamberlain for Reynolds.
Leigh done well so far this season and have rightly been complimented on their results and performances but not naming 21 mans squad or struggling to get a 21 man squad is something that they can be criticised on and rightly so.

Bradford got a provisional licence and it was recently confirmed as a full elite academy licence through to 2027, similar to Hull KR.

I’d be delighted to discuss the RFL, development academies etc. further, but don’t want to de-rail this thread any more than I have.
One thing I am curious about is whether Leigh thought they could run a reserves team this year and just got it wrong, or whether it is a sort of act of protest. I’m writing an article on conspiracy theories in SL so I may as well try to start another. Leigh fans? |

It should be a good game, Leigh will rightly be favourites given their league position but we've been in decent form of late and gaining confidence.
I reckon Leigh will throw more at us going forward than Warrington did so we can't afford to give up as much ball as we did in the first 40 last week.

The way Leigh play, it could benefit us not having Satae playing as he will have been targeted with back to back tackles around the ruck, which he cannot really do. We now have middles with a bit more dynamism and mobility to hopefully counter what Ipape does
