All money issues and whether the council is right or wrong aside this logic baffles me. The south stand problem I understand but to say you'd never go regardless just doesn't stack up. I've been to some of the worst grounds in the country to watch my team and would go anywhere (cash allowing). There was me thinking you where supposedly part of the faithful best fans in the country

For me its the point that the Rotterdam end is £10 for every other team yet Grudge feels the need to charge Hull fans £18 for a Stevie Wonder view.

I find this money from the council a bit obscene and would do if it was for Hull FC. At a time when the country is skint I can't see the justification for this.

I got in the golf stand no problem last season and there were still tickets available to buy online the day before the game. The only downside was that i got a Rovers season pass form through the post because i bought a ticket from their online office.

After Hull got a share of a £40m+ gift, complaints about Rovers getting a share of a £4m loan would seem very mean spirited to me. Essentially the only remaining option would be the council saying f-off and take your vision of a multi-purpose community facility, long-term SL participation and £2m pound European development grant with you. Is that what you think would be doing the right thing by KuH? Looking at this thread, I suppose that is a rhetorical question.

It's the timing that is the big thing for me. We are talking about 7,000 people in east Hull that watch Rovers, do they really warrant this type of spend when so many other services are being cut? At least if it's a loan then it makes it a bit easier to understand but what hapens if Rovers can't make the payments in 4 years time? Also who is paying the interest in the first four years, as Rovers are on a basic rent during this time.
