Hudgell gets - rightly - ridiculed for his constant snide comments about us and for his infamous bar-stool rants in his local. In terms of actual passion for his club, many Hull fans were actually congratulating Rovers fans when our last board was in place.

Give over, we all know what set of fans it was really aimed at. Why would he feel the need to have a pop at London, Salford or Wigan fans, there not constantly slagging him off are they?
I think a lot of the resentment towards the Grudge from a lot of Hull fans is down to jealousy, heres a man who will do anything he can to (try) improve his club, and who is very passionate about his club, whereas Hull had Aunt Cath at the helm who was about as passionate as a wet blanket.

I don't disagree with your last point, that's why I thought it ironic that some of our fans revelling in Pearson's passion actively vilify Hudgell for being the same about his own club.

I can't speak for everyone, but my dislike for Hudgel is based on his profession plus his comments slating my club and fellow fans. It's pretty uncomplicated TBH.

How can a fall from this year of over 1000 be "good"

In the face of the current financial situation and employment uncertainly that many in this City are facing i think that 8000 pass sales would be a fantastic effort by Hull fans.

Same spin was rolled out last year when 1000 dropped from 2011
