If we sign Thompson would seem very unlikely we sign Glenn as well, especially having already signed Jones and Savelio.

Bieneks been playing for the reserves, at his age no need to be rushed, develop nicely playing reserve grade imo

He's been playing for Batley for the last few weeks. (Playing again today.)

Bienek has zero pre season, so was way behind. He's getting his fitness back but next year will be his breakthrough year

O/T but I see Kallum Watkins has apparently been poorly treated by Leeds who are trying to renege on a back end weighted long deal handed out before his injury. Whilst it's definitely noticeable that he is a shadow of the player he was, seems harsh to treat the club captain like that given he seems a model pro. Leeds is just a basket case at present.

If this is true then players will think twice about joining Leeds. If their prepared to dump on their home game town club captain who has been the model professional and a one club man, then they will not bat an eyelid at any other player.

I agree. It would be one thing not offering him a new contract - there is no room for sentiment as they say. But when it's already been agreed it's very poor form from Leeds. His injury has undoubtedly affected his game, but they should be sticking by their captain. He has given them plenty down the years. It's stuff like this that is contributing to their on field issues. It's not a happy camp, and with Sinfield ruling with a iron fist it's easy to see why. Furner got shafted simply because him and Sinfield didn't agree, Lilley and Golding (amongst others) treat badly, Garbutt let go because he was McDermott's mate. He is running them into the ground.
