Also I think it was raised to a 6 points deduction for future administrations.

Both Wakefield & Crusaders went into Administration during the off-season so their points were deducted from the up coming season

just read on bradford bulls forum,that martin sadler has tweeted that he knows of 2 other bids going in to buy the bulls.

I am no fan of theirs but we all knew there aren't 14 strong clubs to start with. Who would replace them then ? Keighley, Halifax, Dewsbury ?

ON the basis that they are admin and nobody wants too or will buy them as then they get saddled with the debt so they will be liquidated. I fully expect a new Bulls to start up in the national leagues next year though

Exactly. How much more help can they actually get, the RFL bought Odsal to help them out FFS !! If there is a miraculous interpretation of the rules to allow Bradford stay in the league (assuming they do fold) then it adds further weight to AP's comments about the RFL basically being bent. Akin to Kerry Packer, lets see Sky sack off the RFL to run Superleague and ditch Redhall



I have some sympathy for the Bulls fans but you reap what you sow. I remember how sympathetic other league members were when we had our "trouble". Many of them WANTED us to go under.

It's not up to the RFL. It will depend on a vote by the other club chairmen.

Some shiz happened and we merged with Gateshead.... (I don't know hardly anything about it either mate, was born a year before you)

We wanted to drop a Division to regroup & sort finances ( As Bulls should do ).

Championship clubs blocked that, strongly encouraged by our mates across the River. In the hope we would fold leaving one club in Hull.

Gateshead still had a place in SL but were playing to non existent crowds & zero interest & had lost shed loads of cask - chairwoman a certain Mrs. Hetherington.

'Merger' quickly arranged - franchise moved to Hull with guaranteed fanatical support & good revenues. Initially two full squads merged giving us 40 players.

At least thats how I remember it !!
