i didn't know Ratchford could play in the centres. which is his best position then?

Sorry, maybe some confusion. I think Horne will stay. However, if for whatever reason Gleeson goes we will need a centre so Ratchford could be an option as he has played there all season for Salford.

If Gleeson does go then I think we really need to look at replacing him with another quality centre. Since his arrival it has shown what a big difference it makes to us having a quality centre on the right hand side and what we have been missing since Richie Barnett Snr.

Didn't agar also claim we only had 18 fit players?

Gleeson had a couple of good games then went off the boil then got his 'illness'. Atm we are missing nothing from him as we never really had him anyway. Besides i said all along he was a tool

Shows why its important to have a good academy setup, teams like Leeds and Sts always seem to deal with injury crisis better as they can call up good players from their academy.



I was thinking yesterday, other than Lyne has Agar actually given any young players decent game time, I am fairly sure Briscoe was brought in during Sharp's time. Hodgson was given about 15 minutes, Niklas about 35.

Apparently Agar is the person who scouted the Briscoe brothers so I'd still give him some credit. And Nicklas did get injured so Agar can't be blamed for that, tbf.

I'd like to see someone like Cunningham maybe given a go in the back row instead of Lauaki who hasn't been impressing me. He was given a go last year but then dislocated his shoulder.

Ratchford has been playing centre for the majority of this season I think.

the Sharp/Whiting combo terrifies me as the first choice lineup. Horne is no longer good enough to be our starting 6, and the pack (Moa aside) will all be over 30.



Washbrook has gone backwards in the last 2 years and should be nowhere near the squad never mind on the bench.



add to that a full back with a woeful injury record, and I think I'll be giving this 'exciting' battle for 8th spot a miss next year.

Let's just wait and see if it's true shall we?



If he does go then at least it frees up cash for 2012, as I believe his deal was heavily weighted in salary for the second year of his contract.

if gleeson isnt here then a straight replacment centre needs to be brought we spent years of using utility players in the right centre whiting,turner and horne when they aint good enough. IF gleeson is sacked then we should be looking at joe arundel from cas great young player, as for the rest of the squad we need to 2 forwards
