I agree that McRae's role is diminishing, but he managed to get us Gentle at the very least, the knock on effect of that is Gentle was instrumental in recruiting Ellis. The only notable losses are Moa & Manu, Moa wanted to return home and Manu felt that at 32 he wanted a fresh challenge, don't believe anyone that tells you it was McRae's fault, they're lying.
The only thing Pearson can be found guilty of is underestimating player loyalty (what there is) and other factors in RL as opposed to football. Recruitment is far more difficult in RL and Pearson will have learnt that his words mid-season were probably too honest and open, but that's hardly a crime, is it?


I for one am looking forward to next season, a very strong first 17 and genuine depth to the squad. Of course it would have been nice to have gotten a genuine 7 like Prince etc. but where's the fun in winning everything quickly?

Not once has AP said that we'll be signing world class halves, seems as though Standee is talking crap yet again. Yes he said we'll bring in two of the best halves in the league to the club.

OR hang you and your 12 pals (i know its nearly Xmas folks but this isnt a nativety story ) have all bought passes through some of the dross over the last 30 years including Agar and auntie kaff yet under the banner of a new owner who cares, spends a fortune of his own cash and brings in class young players plus one of the best players on the planet and they think , "thats toss not going any more" REALLY.......

If thats true i'm amazed as this is potentially one of the most exciting periods in the clubs history

for the 1st time we have an owner who is prepared to invest in not only the team but also heavily invest in our training facilities, youth set up and coaching set up as well as plenty of other things


Sure AP has said things which he probably wishes he never said in public but you can't knock him for being passionate about our club and if he feels we need SM at the club then i'm more than happy to have SM there.

If people aren't prepared to come back because of AP then they probably never ever will come back and will always find some petty excuse not to return

Yes, I know around 12 people who would have bought passes if we'd secured a top quality number 7 who, as it stands, will pick their matche next season. Lets be honest, this place is hardly a barometer of the club, less than 10% of the clubs fans are registered, and even fewer feel inclined to post with any regularity.

I know of around 4 people, fans of Hull for 55 years apiece, who aren't renewing because they hate Shannon McDonnell.

They hate his face, his lego hair, his personality and his feminine name.

Just because these people don't post on this site, doesn't mean it isn't true.
