Webster gone...Chester in next.

I know for a fact that David Howes has been very active in trying to get one of his recent recruits, Nigel Wright, a Super League assistant gig after he left Barrow in acrimonious circumstances.

Howes was hoping that Wright's former club, Wakefield, would take him but Agar wasn't keen and it now looks as though James Webster will obviously fill that void.

Don't be surprised to see Wright land up at the KC!

What circumstances was this? Everyonr knows the bloke who runs Barrow is a nutter.

Hopefully Hull will take they time apointting a new assistant with Gentle taking some part in the interview process.

Rules is the final piece of garbage for AP's broom to sweep into the bin then we have the desired "clean sweep" of the backroom staff that has been mentioned for a long time. (along with Last maybe?)

David Howes seems to be quite influential with our club at the moment.I see Stanley Gene is on his books too..................

He went to a posh school and plays RU. That seems to be enough for some.

And he is also the guy that has constantly spouted complete crap to the fans across the board. He thought that we were that stupid that we would just believe how great our club, squad, BOD and coach were if he said it enough times.

Quite why people seem to have a problem with the guy who was in charge of marketing trying to market the club is frankly beyond me. Clarkey doesn't get the same level of abuse and he was worse if anything.

FWIW, I have exactly the same opinion of Clarkey. He was paid to say what he said regardless of how wrong and how condescending to the fans it was. IMO, that makes him either a spineless puppet who'll say anything to keep his job or a misguided fool.

I always thought webster was by far the smarter of our 2 coaches last seaosn and would have seen benefit in him staying. Expect that hudge has had a word in his shell like
