If players apply themselves and have the right attitude i think there's at least 20 British players that could make it. Only Sean Long as a half in the last 10 years but i think players like - Sinfield, Roby, Peacock, Abblett, Tickle, Houghton, T.Briscoe, Fox, Westerman, Eastmond(potentially), S. Tomkins(potentially), Senior, Graham, LMS(potentially), J. Tomkins(potentially), O'Loughlin, Carvell, Gardner. All could have or still could.
Then you've got Morley, Jackson, Ellis, Burgess, Flannaghan and Widdop (he's played for England, i'm having him) who have or are cutting the mustard over there.
Now, in no way do i mean any of these players would get a gig at a top team as a starter, but they would all get contracts. When you look at Tandy, Crossman and Fitzhenry going back and getting deals i don't see any of the above having a problem.

I beg to differ with Senior. Watching him play for Leeds I wish we had him at Salford, for England/GB it's a different story. Personally I'd say he's not quick enough and the NRL defences wouldn't give him the same amount of space to move.

Agree with you there the player concerned would have at least been released by their club. Its all still up in the air IMHO.

Was told at the weekend that Dowes was likely to go but Radders was deciding this week. I am certainly not expecting either of them to be here next season though.

Young men who normally work weekends have weekend off which coincides with biggest event of the year in their chosen sport go to the pub to watch it and then out into to town afterwards. It's hardly terrible behaviour is it.

I was joking because some posters would actually believe there is one(drinking culture) but thats only when we are losing that it becomes a problem.

It seems clear that Dowes will leave for Bradford but I hope Radford decides to stay for his testimonial year. He has had one year at out-and-out prop and has been improving throughout the season. I'd be happy to see another year out of him and, if he continues to improve at prop, perhaps even longer.

If they both go - good luck to them, they've been good club men.

Interesting news out of Wigan today that 3 players are leaving. The lack of Fielden news either way suggests to me nothing has been decided.

Perhaps but it seems weird that they'd announce them players leaving but not Fielden. Perhaps it's because we're in the play-offs?
