| All the usual suspects have been mentioned and we have had some great player like Sterlo, Smith etc. However the arrival of the three kiwi's is something as a kid I will always remember. O'Hara was outstandingly fast, Leulaui's side step was amazing and Kemble was just the best fullback I had ever seen in my life. Even now I can only think of the odd fullback who would be up their with him.
Even now we still have great overseas players like Ogre and Fitz.

| I'm not really old enough to remember Sterling, so Jason Smith would have to be my favourite. A truly magical player, the likes of which he haven't seen in a Hull shirt since. Swain played more games and was a tackling phenomenon, but for sheer brilliance, it would have to be Smith every time.

| Jason Smith for me; too young for anyone else really. I can applaud Swain but Smith was touched by magic.

| I always preferred david brooks to terry regan, a tackling machine. Regan also cost us a trip to wembley when he played the ball to himself on the last tackle in the 0-0 semi v halifax, with gary pearce waiting to pop a simple drop goal over with a couple of minutes left.

| Deon Bird? who was the kicker of the same era who unfortunately broke his leg against cas? Herron or something? This was as I was just getting into rugby properly, before then i only showed a slight interest and the one player who (without being a big rugby fan at the time) made me think WOW, was Tawera Nikau, not Hull I know but my fav import from any team.

| Swain is the best import during my time of watching Hull, phenomenal in defense, never gave less than 100% in a Hull shirt.

I seem to remember him sustaining a serious leg injury whilst kicking a goal and having to spend several weeks on the sidelines.

| I know its good signing english players but doesn't compare to when were linked overseas players and confirmed this year as it's being a honour to watch Ogre + fitz a, for me Kearney had a massive effect on the club even though he was only here for a season let's hope probably in 2012 we get some more great players

| The most influential player that FC ever had from overseas was S Kearney imo, his ability to change a game, do the unexpected or frighten the ferk out of the opposition hardmen was a delight to watch ...
Peter Sterling and R Swain a very close joint second.
Best player i know of ever was S Norton... possibly one of the worlds greatest .

| Has to be Sterling , brought the best out of the players around him . As said before, Craig Coleman turned an average team into a good one ..
Dave Brown... Like a large tumble dryer

Hmm...
Both sets of players held their annual night out in town last night.
The gladiators of Hull all met face-to-face, nose-to-nose in a neutral drinking establishment.
Jake Webster was in the wrong place at the wrong time and consequently was on the receiving end of a brutal beating by a Hull forward.
Sparks flew, glasses were thrown, people were ejected from the vacinity, and a bloody, battered Webster was escorted to HRI to be bandaged and stitched up.
Am I close?
