Lets say we sign Chase, and Horne and Long both get injured. Does Chase give us the direction in the halves that we would be missing? I think Chase gives fantastic creativity etc but i'm not sure he's the option to cover Longs injuries.

Whoever is cover would be interchanging hooker for me, so they would all see good game time in pivotal roles. Because of Horney's rehab, whoever signs will play the first game anyway, so he will have to fight to get his place back in the halves after that IMO.

Think you may well be right, they will not want to lose someone as inportant in their set up so close to the start of the season, i think the only way we will get one of them is if the player himself forces the clubs hand by asking for a release.

I am still thinking we aren't going to sign anyone. If Chase or Sammut came they would and should be in the starting team ahead of Horne or Long. The idea that either them would come as cover for two washed up halves is ludicrous.
