Totally agree Paul. Lynch is a top signing but with all the recent hype, it would be difficult to be excited about a couple of signings that I've never heard of, or that are only slightly better than we already have.

Not AP's hype though, it's only fans on here saying names like Lyon etc.

Don't get me wrong, I think that Bridge is half decent but "top player" is exaggerating a little. I would be underwhelmed along with a fair few others I think.

Well we'll see soon enough I would imagine. Probably a couple of weeks at most and we'll know who they are.

We certainly need a SR and a centre of some quality.

With a salary cap in place Pearson will find it hard to deliver on the playing front straight away, having to play along the lines of one out one in sort of process. We'll get a couple more good signings, maybe not the jaw dropping names people are wishing for but enough to have a good side for next year. I believe Top 4 is a real goal for next season if we are to sign the right sided centre we so desperately need.

2013 is a realistic season to actually start seeing some of pearson's investment come off. With a new coaching setup and structures in place, anything can happen though.

Hasn't Phil Gould just taken over them and I'm sure he'd like to keep hold of the best players already there. That said , Jennings is on a final warning with the Panthers for drink related incidents.
