Craig fitzgibbon before ogre in my opinion mate

So many top players missing here if omeley is top ten god help us! Remember the hull v Halifax cup semi finals - Dave brooks n terry regan! Coleman was great but never as good as sterlo, muggleton was good but second season poor!

Its crazy that peter sterling only played 36 games for us . It feels like he was here for years

Steve Holmes , only 1 season but a class fullback and people forgetting tevita vaikona, might of left us but his try's got us promoted that year

Thats what i like about opinions....i didnt particulary rate Fitz with us...yes it was good to see a modern day legend play for us but thought he too slow and out of postion for us but each too their own.

Out of all those mentioned, Peter Sterling was an absolute Legend for me.

His first spell with us we won 9/10 games in 83/84.

He came back the following season. He arrived from Aus on a Friday and on the Saturday turned us round in the 2nd half to destroy Rovers in the Yorkshire Cup Final at Boothferry Park.

Organised the team, had speed, tackled like a forward and was tough as nails.

If he would come out of retirement today, I think he could still do a job for us at No 7.

I can't believe people are putting Manu in place of Toni Grimaldi! I remembered Grimaldi been a quality player, true gent and a workhorse! Also was out leader for a bit IIRC! Ended up at the doggies bro and was immense!

Hutch maiava (if that's how it spelt) all time number 1!........ Seriously who would you say been our worst overseas signing? As for the best I have a serious soft spot for swain, absolutely inspirational on the pitch and knew how to pick the team up when needed

All played in same team together when we last won the championship.

Scored spectacular tries (not least Wembley 85).

Berrigan would be nowhere near my list.

Nor mine, he was average and not the top class 'leader' we needed when Swain left.

Note: some of the above (such as McMenemy or Domic) aren't the most gifted/talented players I've seen in the Black and White, but their effort, work-rate and overall contribution to the team gets them on to my list.

No Fitzgibbon or Barnett?

Barnett was a more talented centre than Domic, but I've chosen Domic as I think we got more out of him due to his better injury record and workrate.

Fitzgibbon was good in 2010, but in 2011 I felt he started to look tired and slow (not helped by Agar's policy of flogging him for 80mins every week) which is why he's narrowly left off my list.

Sterling was without doubt the best I have seen, light years ahead of everyone.

Why? As much as I like Willie Manu I've got ten better overseas players for us than him. As I'm sure a lot of others do.

O Meley not in top 20, Mcmenemy far superior

Shayne McMenemy was an usung hero. Not spectacular but one of my favourites.

Shayne McMenemy and Adam Maher were brilliant for us.
