I wont get into one of your 'you are right arguments' but it is not- we are talking about a sportsman who has run his contract through and wishes to move on. Houses it aint and being loyal to a neighbour were did that come from.

However you say you're not a TB hater yet your posts in this thread all back up the others that say he is disloyal if he were to leave the club whom he works for to go work for someone else.
You've said what you said in your previous post but just because adding 10,000 fans whom follow ALL of the club (not just one tiny bit of it) in no way shape or form justifies the 'disloyal' tag that you've backed up. So either you've misunderstood what being called disloyal for no justfiable reason actually means and the impact that can have on another human being or you dislike Tom personally..which is it?
I could ask the same to the others on here whom have called him disloyal (who have now shut up because they are wrong) so could be awfully sweet and pass the same question onto them as well for me if you don't mind....

That's your belief, but I think personally Tom doesn't have to make that call at 23. You can understand Manu last year, at 32 moving on for that reason. But at 23 I think it's too young to be a valid reason.

Money is a strange reason, I doubt anybody could offer him a significant enough amount more for him to choose a 'Salford'.

The only thing I've ever said is that I could understand any fans resentment towards him. Understanding them feelings and me actually having them are two completely different things.

Depends what he's on here and how he would fit into another team's cap structure. Salford's new owner has promised to break the salary cap anyway, so he can earn what he likes there.

If I'm daft, you're border line idiotic. You seem completely unable to differentiate between a regular person earning 20-30k per year and a preofessional sports person earning 100k+.

Players come and go - always have done and always will. Fans get attached to players then feel a tad aggrieved when it turns out that the player doesn't have the same undying allegiance to the cause as themselves. If Tom goes elsewhere in SL I will be disappointed that he doesn't see the near-mid term potential of the club to gain honours that many others do (fans and staff alike). It's his livelihood and his choice at the end of the day. He's an international class winger and therefore by definition bound to be missed. It would be better for the club if he stayed however it wont dent the club's ambition should he decide to.

It's the constant waiting allowing rumours to surface which causes the problems and leads to bad feeling.

He said he would let the club know before the start of the season (oz?) but nothing has been said as far as i know.

Just say something to keep the fans informed and confirm or deny the rumours.

Wilf said in this week's Dentists Diary that his sources say Tom's meeting his agent this week to discuss the offers he has and decide where he's going next season. Those same sources say that Tom won't be staying with us.

My theory is that at the start of the NRL season there were no offers on the table for Tom hence why nothing has been said. He's since either been waiting for a NRL club to come in with an offer or (and this one is more likely given the rumours) he's been sounding out other SL clubs and Union clubs.
