At least miller must be available for us to make him an offer . Either would do for me but have to see miller play first to see who I'd have first .

My only reservations with Miller are that he is very young and could be more prone to homesickness. Should he get past that, would he want to return home after a couple of years to try for rep honours?

I'd be more than happy with either Prince or Miller. Both have different positives in their favour. Miller could be seen as an even bigger coup in some ways, given his age & potential.
Whoever has the desire to sign for Hull is the one I hope we end up with in the end.

After a fortnight away its nice to get back to reality,been scouring the boards to find these internationals and top british players adam promised hull would sign,can anyone tell me who I have missed recently.I know mcdonnell is a target,but he is trying to get a contract with an aussie club,and prince dosen't seem too keen,so it looks like miller and holdsworth are going to be the best halfback combination adam promised the rugby league world he would sign.!

Prince wants to speak directly to Cartwright about why he is being shoved out of the door at the Titans with a year still to run on his contract before he commits to a three-year contract offer from Hull FC.

The only communication Prince has had with club officials since news broke of a potential move to the English Super League has been a text message and email he received from co-owner Michael Searle, who is holidaying with Cartwright in the US.

It is believed the text message simply read "it's a tough time for all of us" and "hang in there", but the email was much more forthright and told Prince he was not wanted in 2014.

Prince wants to thrash out the issue with Cartwright, but the coach did not take his mobile phone with him to the US, leaving him uncontactable when the drama broke.


Cartwright will arrive home today and the halfback is keen for an immediate resolution given pre-season training at the Titans, or Hull, begins in less than two weeks.

Prince has not given up hope he can remain at the Titans next year.

"He wants to talk to Carty before deciding what he's going to do," a source said yesterday.

Titans CEO David May yesterday insisted Prince could remain with the club next year, but he knows the coach and skipper must discuss the situation to ensure a peaceful resolution.

"We are very keen to connect John and Scott when he gets back," May said. "We just want him to make his decision first. If he decides to stay, he is welcome to stay."

This is not the first time Prince has felt a push towards the door.

Last year he confronted Searle and told him in no uncertain terms that he would not be walking out after being shopped around overseas.

Earlier this season he was equally determined not to make way for Cooper Cronk.

Expecting a similar push to come again, Prince had explored options to remain in Australia before the Hull offer arrived, via someone other than his own management, fuelling the belief the scenario has been orchestrated by the Titans.

Prince is not keen to head overseas, but with just one year left on his contract and Searle making it clear the option for the 2014 season will not be activated, heading to Hull is the veteran's best prospect.

Jacob miller would be better out the pair simply for his age, you can build a team around him as long as you can get him settled in hull, unless of course he's fancies a crack at the nrl after his contract expires but either way prince would be gone at the end of his so you've got nothing to lose

Right now Prince is the (far) superior player.
