A massive overreaction. Try taking a look at what goes on in countries with really repressive governments and then contrast with what goes on in the UK. We're not perfect by any means but your rights to free speech and peaceful protest are intact.

As for comparing the actions of a privately owned sports club to a Fascist state - get a grip. It's a game FFS. Nobody is dying or having their fundamental human rights trodden on.

Doubt they would let them in the ground in the first place. Wouldn't surprise me if there were checks on flags on Friday to make sure. Also reckon anybody sporting any anti Agar clothing will be asked to remove it or be refused entry.

The reason that I ask this question is because I am concerned that after Sunday's incident the club are over reacting and may alienate a further section of their supporters. Would they behave this way if the banners were in support of the club?

I think the people who run the ground have the right to stop stuff like that regardless. They may use the "Inciting crowd trouble" card. Or a host of other reasons.
The bloke who took <------------- that one down was very apologetic and was just doing what he had been told to do by the higher ups. Was no point in me trying to argue my case.
I think a lot of it is down to goodwill between clubs, and if Quins were faced with a similar situation they would then expect Hull to remove any anti club/coach banners down at the KC.

I wouldn't imagine its a rugby league thing, more likely a ground regulations/public order thing, which would/could apply to every sports ground or arena in the country.
