I'd do the same tbh. However, I get the impression that Smith knows he probably isn't good enough, but also really appreciates his professionalism and attitude. He got dropped to the reserves but didn't sulk and instead went and put in a really good performance by all accounts. That kind of epitomises what Smith is trying to get in terms of attitude, and for that reason I don't think he's going to start picking Martin or Barron ahead of him.

If that's true then it kinda figures as Harris was also the agent for Evalds who left for Cas within days of verbally agreeing a new contract with Salford in 2020. This is all about cash (for player & agent). Which is fine if it is as RL is a short career. Players would get some respect if they just came out and said it but I'm really not sure the "2 sides to every story" is meant to imply. Looks like the standard defence when you've been accused of forcing a move for the extra dollar.

Probably the latter davey as Dupree & his agent seemed more than happy not that long ago to extend his deal. Most likely wants to lessen the flak he’ll get from Salford fans by deflecting.

From what I heard Salford aren’t so innocent regarding a clause after a certain game Dupree just played recently
