Harsh economic times is the main reason for gates falling across the board. There would be a few more there if we were top of the league but it wouldn't be full. It is what it is. KR got 6400-odd the other night and ours are down a couple of thousand. Looking forward to getting there on Friday and cheering the team on myself. Whether or not the top tier is open wont bother me at all.

Get your head out the sand and face facts, people have lost interest in the game in general due to all sorts of reasons, franchise no relegation system, economic reasons, total lack of progression on the field after years of false dawns and 'wait for next year' rubbish, same teams at the top all the time.

After the boring rugby under Agar. We were promised an entertaining brand of rugby. Now 1/3rd into Gentle`s 2nd season as coach we are still playing the same awful way.
The club have got everything right marketing wise we just need to get it right on the pitch. IF we do that crowds will pick up

Hull say that 1K was sold yesterday, and strong sales again today. So I'd imagine we've now sold 17-18K and 20K is achievable.

to beat last seasons total would be a fantastic effort from both clubs, given that economically things have got harder and last year we were in much better form (we briefly went top of the league with out Good Friday win)

I hope the £15 tickets in the Upper West encourage fans of both clubs who were going to watch on TV to attend. The cold weather may also help in a bizarre way, as there can't be much else to do on a freezing cold March afternoon!
