Its not to far for the youngsters to travel, can probably get lifts with the West Yorkshire lads, were as if their coming from Lancashire its a longer journey and probably by there self. |

Few reasons why imo:
1. Commutable location
2. One of the best junior set ups in the country
3. Good relationships mean quicker (and maybe more flexible) deals
What would be the point in looking at clubs for loan players that done meet the above criteria? |

tbf if you choose teams to take loanees off then usually it would be the champions you would look at first. He's not just a reserve either seems well embedded in their first team squad. And if we have no money free on the cap then Kath uses payment in kind everyone's a winner. |

Who cares, they're the champions and have been for the past 3 years! The strength in depth is one of the reason they are champions. I'll be happy aslong as we're loaning players from Leeds (When needed of course) |

Not having a go here, but did you see the game at Salford? One of our academy lads was thrown in at the deep end on the wing and was found wanting.
Doing that to someone as integral as dummy half would be a huge mistake in the long run. |

Bravo Bravo... Well said...
Pat, Jack and even the young un Danny Bloom are so far away from the hooking role in the 1st team.. ( Same goes for Danny Nicklas and lee Williams at 6 and 7 for the 1st team) I am not at all putting a fork thru them now.. BUT with another year in the 20's maybe just maybe they can step up and not a minute sooner..
I am going tonight and ill run my eye over this Mcshane fellow... |

in all seriousness though, from what I've seen of him mcshane is a handy little player and will do you a good job as he's a lively hooker with good skills. |

McShane is a good young hooker and we should be pleased to have him at such short notice. It's a win/win scenario as we get useful cover whilst Berro is injured and Leeds get one of the young players gaining SL experience. There is a suggestion next year that Buderus may leave and Leeds might promote McShane to the 17 and share the hooking role with Diskin so he must be highly thought of.
It's good news, where he comes from is irrelevant.
