Yeah, he was outstanding to set up the try for Abdull late in the 2nd half, but then threw the ball straight in to touch trying to bullet one out to the winger the next set. Also kicked a 40/20 against the wind, but kicked one out on the full under no pressure.

His core skills are absolutely outstanding for a kid his age in his position, got to remember he was still 2 years younger than the Leeds lads he played against tonight.

One of the best I've ever seen at that age, reminds me of Thurston with his scrum cap and the way he moves and runs.*

I have not seen the actual sizes but I know there will be no more than 4 (possibly 3) mini pitches. Don't forget the bit of land at the front of Brooklands was left alone by Barratts as a token gesture and iirc there is a covenant on the land that it has to be used for sports. Barratts got around that by leaving a very small section of it where only mini pitches would fit. I think people are thinking it is the whole of Brooklands that is to be for sports but its a very small bit at the front and even that is cut into by Dove House at the side of their shop and the back.

Would have said Turgut was ahead of BTW tbh and should have had a hat trick. Has great feet runs great lines and can tackle all day long.

They have added more houses since that plan, it went from about 89 to 150 something. Also the bottom footpath on the left hand side is now an access road. The car park (off the top of my head) is for about 20 odd cars, not nearly enough if all 4 pitches are in use for example a tournament. I know Sport England got involved at one point because of the covenant.

That was their number 12, didn't like being sat down at all!

As far as using Chamberlain Road for the 19's goes, i'm only going on something I thought i'd heard. I was sure i'd heard AP say that they would still do the educational stuff at Bishop Burton, but games etc. would be at CR.

I could have got the wrong end of the stick, although going past it, it certainly seems big enough.

Looks can be deceiving

By the time the houses are up, the road is built and the car park to accomodate the pitches there won't be enough left for a full pitch, a stand, toilets and all the stuff that goes with it. Dove House have a fair chunk of it you can't see from Chamberlain Road around the back.

If there's not going to be enough room for a full pitch, who are the 3 or 4 mini pitches for? Midgets?

Its obviously been redesigned again then since I saw the last plans. Without wanting to turning it into a political debate, HCC had turned it down numerous times and it went to the planning inspectorate in Bristol who approved it. It must have been re-jigged again because they said the trees around the site would stay, yet they have chopped them all down, even those that had a preservation order on them.

A good win, still a few forwards missing like Fash, Osborne, downs, branham and Parker.

3/4 from that team will make good SL players but as others most impressed with Turgett, really strong running forward, who runs good lines and scores lots of try's. I'd expect him to be in the first team next year and maybe make his debut.

Wasn't in the game much at all really, brought the ball back a few times, backed up a couple of breaks without getting the ball and chased down a Leeds break. We never had to go that wide tbh, because we were breaking the line easily at times.

Well whatever is planned I hope (for completely selfish reasons) it includes the 19's.
