It's all Yeaman seems to know these days............the scoot from dummy half. And that is predictable as he always side-steps back in to the markers.

And he is so lazy in defence at times he gets found out a couple of times per match.

He needs to be put through gaps like Judas used to, we just don't hit him in gaps anymore

He needs to start backing up and looking interested.

We don't know how to drag teams in then fire it out to hit our backs 1 on 1 with there opponents, the only time he does get any ball is scooting away from dummy half

His defence wasn't good enough for the centre last year. I don't know if he has improved in the off season, but i wouldn't play him in the centre

but i do think we are missing Motu, everytime a high ball goes up for Hall everyone seems to gasp and worry about what is goin to happen and as a club aiming for big things this season we shouldn't settle for that

last night for example, he let the ball bounce twice as i can remember, and its not good enough, he needs to commit to the ball 100%

granted he trusted his pace out wide for that run, but like people have said we always knew he was going to be put in touch. on the first tackle. not good enough IMO, and little things like this with wrong decision making why we will lose against teams who we should be beating comfortably

Its the game plan again though isnt it. Yeamo doesnt set that.

I know its not spontaneous (sp!) but it is not very effective and very predictable.

In the game against Wigan I don't remember Yeamo or any of the backs taking it up very often, the forwards made good impact down the middle. Maybe Agar is bringing it in to componsate for us terrible bench choices, something which will ultimately burn out our forwards.

Defensively Yeamo cost us 2 tries so G.Horne is pretty dependable in comparison.

Thought Hall did well, only mistake was going into touch, whilst it was annoying he did little else wrong and helped make one try and score another.

Those qualities generally get a player slagged off on here.

He should have cut back in sooner but I dont think he took into account the slippery surface which was the main reason he got pushed into touch. I do find it amazing we have threads complaining about how boring we play and then people complain when someone tries something different.

Tommy Lee is the only one who has the balls to try and do something off the cuff which is what we need. But when it doesn't work people kick off because it didn't work. As a team we seem to worry about the percentages too much. Make as many yards as possible by strolling up the middle of the field for 5 and then hope for a good kick. I know yards is what we need, but throw it about and we may make a break and go on to make 30 - 40 metres just from that one. Instead of 6 - 7 metres each bloody drive down the middle.

Yes.

In fact I predicted sliding tries from the 10 metre line given the weather on the way there. While that didn't happen it was obvious to anyone there that any player could be slid into touch at any time.
