To be honest I wish we'd kept Webster, think he'd be an asset to many SL clubs.

Hull were spot on in not keeping Webbo, Thorman is a far better option.

Webster is playing in the National league 1 this season, says it all, if he was good enough for SL he would be still playing in it.

Thorman is a better player.

Why did a poor Huddersfield side last season let Thorman go without a fight?

Webster isn't good enough for Super League and Thorman is mid table standard at his best (which isn't very often!).

Decision to let Webbo go was the right one IMO.Too slow, weak in the tackle only plus is he sometimes has a decent kicking game.

The same could be said of Jake Webster, Ben Galea, Fitzhenry....

all released early from contarcts, and not because they had nothing to contribute. You are incredibly one dimensional in your outlook.

The players you have named have improved our squad, the addition of Dobson to replace webster once again improved our squad. Huddersfield releasing Thorman and signing Carney(although not coming)would have improved their squad.
Some clubs are looking to improve instead of just filling in gaps for a year or so, players of the calibre of Thorman and Calderwood will not help your club progress.

So why was they released?.... pray tell us from your multi-dimensional vision

They were released following there own requests, and the request was honoured by the club in view of their service; which is the point i was making.

Or, in the logic of Rupert, they must have been relaeased because they weren't good enough for their respective teams that were already spluttering.

I think you will find I was, if you care to check back on my previous posts. It was always on the cards you could/would start off the season in good style due to the fixture list but due to the opening wins it was only papering over the cracks that have been there for some time.

Can you give us the lottery numbers for this Saturday?

Wigan & Catalan at home and Bradford away. 3 fixtures we always struggle in and you expected us to start in 'good style'

nothing was certain for any club. i can almost certainely guarantee that if we had contined to win, you would not be posting that there were cracks etc.

we rarely beat bradford esp at odsal but we did.

we beat what was in front of us.
