Aparently the club are speaking to the crusaders today with a huge offer!!!
hopefully its enough to unveil him tomorrow!!

For me he wont do much for them.

I think they should just go ahead and sign Phelps. He can cover right across the back-line and by all accounts was impressive last season in Wigans under 20s playing at stand off. I reckon he would be grateful for the opportunity and eager to impress aswell. Always came across as a good pro.

Is Sammut really worth a huge offer though? Good player no doubt but would strike me as a bit of a panic measure.

I would sooner have Sammut he is going to be a right handful this season he is also a f/back, and with the Tanseygate we will probably need one, however if we do not get him I think you are right Phelps will do a good job and as you say will want to impress.

It will not be a Huge offer, it will reflect his ability and contract length.

Unsure is my honest opinion, i think he has that something special and is full on with tons of cheek and tricks but i just wonder if throwing lots of cash at them is the right way about it all, you see i personally think we should wait and see how things pan out a wee while first because the squad isnt in as much disaray as many make out even with Tansey gone (if thats the case ) we do have some good youngsters who can cover if needed ,
what we need more than anything is some luck with injuries this opening 6 games...

We could do with both phelps and Sammut but rather have Sammut but still need couple more on top of that

Maybe it did bobble... but it's only the footballers that have been running about on the pitch for the last 4 months.

FFS Hull FC haven't played on the pitch since last September!
