His wealth is via his own business which strategically is not a Limited Company. Typical Private Eye not doing their homework.

Some clubs legally spend way over £1.65. Some at near £2mill

That's a bit silly and not like you Paul, you should play your best team, Briscoe will be honoring his contract with Hull and never done anything other than put 100% in every game he has played for Hull.

We didn't drop Moa and Manu last year and you wouldn't drop O Meley now either.

We have much more chance of being successful in the cup and SL with Briscoe in our side so he plays unless his form drops.

Not silly at all. Crookes has hardly played so why wait until next year to bed him in and cement a relationship with his winger? He might makes improvements in his game this year. If not we might need another winger. It's not petty towards Tom it's about what is best for the club/team.

Best for the team is playing your best team, I think we have an outside change of doing well this year (mainly in the cup). On your rational we should drop O Meley and play Bowden for the rest of the year.

Why O'Meley he is retiring not leaving for another club, but I would still play Briscoe myself.

At the end of the day, I would keep playing Briscoe - he is one of our best players and could be the difference in the Quarters/Semi/Final of the cup as he can do something special.

He might not even want to leave, it stated in the paper he is meeting with his agent next week to discuss things, so his agent might come back with 2 or 3 deals from other clubs - and Briscoe might think it best to stay

This. If Tom's form drops and/or he shows signs that he can't be bothered with us any more then that is the time to talk about dropping him. As it should be with all players. We seem to have enough depth in most areas now that no player can expect a place automatically in the 17.

Until such a scenario occurs then Tom plays in my eyes.

SO if every team drops the players who are out of contract at the end of the season there would be bedlam,plus whats the point of giving them a 2 year contract when the last year there wouldnt play,so is miller only going to play for us next year then be dropped,

I think Bricoe will be giving 100% in all game's for us this year ... It is a World cup year remember .

Paul isn't talking about "dropping every player who is out of contract" though is he. He is talking about what's best for the squad for the future. We have a perfectly good winger in Crookes (who BTW hasn't been found guilty of anything at all) who has looked potentially very good with limited opportunities.

If Briscoe is going to leave for another SL club after all that he has said, it's a kick in the teeth to the club and the fans. I would certainly agree with Paul and give Crookes a real chance on the wing. It would gives us a much better idea of what is needed for next season and, let's face it, Crookes could be an improvement on what Briscoe has done this season so far.

Firstly, Why would it be in kick in the teeth to the club or the fans? Has he not fulfilled his contractual agreements?

Secondly, the if couldn't be anymore appropriate in this situation.

Thirdly, those trying to convince themselves that Briscoe is easily replaces are having a heads gone episode. I can only imagine if the players view these boards, it could make their minds up fairly quickly that some of the fans we have are fickle to the extreme and they would be off like a shot.
