indeed, I do think the club had *some* time during which they were making a decision.
I honestly think Agar has spoken to anyone and everyone who is available, but clubs are holding out and some players do not want to come.
Also, if we're only offering a year, it's not the most attractive offer unless the £££'s are right. |

Completely agree, if Turner has a good run at 6 then why should he be put back on the bench, or out of the 17 all together, just because Hornes fit again? If Horne is still up to it then he should be able to earn his place back. Putting Horne straight into the squad when he's fit again wouldn't be fair on whoever misses out because of him IMO. I'd give him a few games back in the reserves 1st to get him back to match fitness since he hasn't played since September. |

absolutely agree with that!! Whiting looks very very solid at FB , in my opinion a better FB than Tansey as well and given high height etc he is the right man and looked solid at cas!! and to be fair he has always played well at FB where his reading of the game puts him in the right place at the right time when were going forward too, reminds me a bit of Mick Withers in as much as he is never going to score many long range tries but always did the right things and gave his team mates lots of confidence if the line is broken, also many forget how often he carries the ball too, never one to back away when it gets tasty !!
As for Turner he has really impressed me as a play maker in the two friendlies and given a run could have found his true calling in the halves!! but i think that when RH is ready to go he will do the business again, hes a class act |
