If I am not mistaken Adam Pearson as been involved with kissball for a while now(with not much success) and the same contract law applies. If you offer a player under 24, a contract that is lower than the contact that he his currently on then he is entitled to move clubs when the valid contract as expired without the need for compensation being paid.

Pearson seems to be getting quite abit of stick for his comments but I couldnt care less what rival fans think to be honest, (especially leeds supporters) at least he's showing passion. I'd probably tend to agree with that, KR might be our biggest rivals but as you say they are a passionate bunch, and mean well. Leeds fans on the other hand are just filled with arrogance and seem to think that they are gods gift.

No more needs saying, im sure Pearson knew he couldnt win this, but it has brought a lot into the public domain, the RL will also know now that they will have to be smarter in the future, this has sneaked through, but they must realise the under handess of the situation.
