Wouldn't surprise me if we pull out some kind of a performance and beat them.
We had our backs against the wall last season at their's and not many gave us a hope but we totally outplayed them.
I'd definitely make them favourites though.
Just think we are two very very average SL teams.

Even with Dobson they would have lost tonight if Cas had put boot to ball more in the second half. Their kicking tonight was appalling. I hope we're going to target Eden who might look flashy going forward but looks a liability in defence to me.

when it comes to derby day only one team wants it more and that's the dobbins we have had some good performances in the past few derbies but when it comes down to a derby like this with the squad we have i fear the worse to be honest. i hope its just nerves like every derby and we work a miracle and actually use a dummy runner or make a break and our season clicks into place on Friday!!!

Nasty and uncalled-for. Rovers will score points for sure. With neither of our first choice halves available and the talismanic Yeaman and our captain on the sidelines, we won't be able to score more in my opinion.

Why make it personal? I'm going, taking my husband, kids, mum and nephew, for whom it's his first game. I can guarantee I'll be amongst the most vocal in our section. In what way would me staying away be doing everyone a favour? I'm entitled to an opinion on the outcome of this game which is that a team that can only get 3 tries vs London is not going to outscore Hull KR. It's a reasonable opinion.

Why will they score against our defence which everyone admits has improved no end...ok so our halves arent playing but we was without halfs last season and managed and as for your reference to london and us only scoring 3 trys is very disrepectful to them.Why dont you just wait and see what happens eh? i fear the worst yes but dont openly admit it it on here...Rovers only scored 26 against cas but conceded 22...we put 52 on them and conceded 0...pretty much in our favour there.As for taking everyone...couldnt give a toss really.

Rovers are a poor team this year but they have won twice as many games as fc so far this season.

Apart from 42-6 I think that is a bit of a myth. When we won 5 from 6 over 2008-9, you were struggling generally. When you improved in 2010-11 so did your derby results.

Hard game to call, as they usually are. Your strengths and weaknesses are almost the exact reverse of ours. Experience and home advantage should help you. And our tendency to give away cheap ball. We'll need to play better than we have most of the season so far.

its ok comparing the cas games but on the other hand i could say we scored more points against widnes in 25 mins than you managed in other words its a pointless comparison

Because the only team to have scored more points in the competition so far is Wigan.


We did, but we had McGoldrick in the squad to force a dropout from a grubber kick, target Dobson for a try and put in a fine assist to Whiting. Any disrespect to London is a result of them being poor, as evidenced by their 12th place last year and 11th this, level on points with Widnes but having played a game more. Of course, we have only one point more, which is hugely disappointing.

They scored 8 tries and 42 points against London, with a 20-point winning margin. Pretty much in their favour.

You said I'd be doing everyone a favour if I stayed away. Pointing out that FC are at least fifty quid better off if I make the trip, so not everyone.

Which is a sad state of affairs considering the support both teams get.

Great to see some people's confidence has gone through the roof after see us tonight. Conditions were dreadful tonight and rovers came away with the 2 points, they scored points because with let chase boss the game for 20 mins and they got some very fortuitous tries. I know it's a derby an it's 50/50 but I can't see where Hull even against a poor rovers defence where hulls points are gonna come from.

Gonna stick my neck on the line and say Fc will win by 10. Just a gut feeling. I also think even though it's cold weather, the atmosphere will be good with both sets of fans singing at each other.

Ok...so the upcoming game...the players need to put the effort in..Gentle has to employ dummy runners and run at Welham and Dobson,both cant tackle a salad,Use his bench better and have better options in the squad available.He also has to heep Heremia awat from 7 as this works as much as a 1 legged man in a kicking contest.Make sure we have the semblanse of a kicking game and this should see us home.
