Henderson was born in England but has played for Scotland in the past. His parents are Scottish. He moved to Australia when he was a kid/in his teens, too.

another point, I can see Charnley possibly in for Briscoe depending on how both play at their clubs, like a few others have said Briscoe is a bit 4th gear at the minute. Whether it's just 4N lag or he doesn't want to be at hull I don't know.

Well if Briscoe wants out he'll have a long wait. Aussie clubs don't pay transfer fees, and certainly not for a winger. There's no way AP will let him go early for free

Not sure on his performances so far if Briscoe will get the nod, very average defensively positioning wise. Disappointed for Houghton though

Charnley is a good finisher but never really does much in terms off helping the forwards out when on the back foot etc.

Maybe because he is a turnstyle and not international class....last time he played,he got shown up big style.

Id play Charnley over Briscoe who on this seasons form needs dropping from the elite squad and never did anything in the world cup either

How many times have you seen him play?
I've watched him from being a very raw 16 year old. At that time Ainscough was flavour of the year in the Wigan youth set up and rightly so. Within a couple of years Charnley had overtaken him despite being two years younger and Ainscough was "moved on"

All I'll say to you, is watch Charnley. You'll get a chance v Wire in a couple of weeks and v Saints Good Friday. I'm sure you'll have a different opinion.

charnley certainly looks a good player, however both hall and briscoe would look like superstars if they were on the wings at wigan

I know you see him every week but from what i've seen he's a very good finisher but doesn't do too much when the Wigan forwards need some help getting outta the 20.
