I went to the Manly v Cronulla game. It was a heritage match which commemorated the 1973 Grand Final between the teams- arguably the most brutal GF ever played. Mal Reilly played for Manly and was king-hit out of the game in the first minutes and Tommy Bishop and Cliff Watson played for Cronulla. Went to live near Cronulla in 1970 and followed them until I left the area about 13 years ago.

No love for Manly but they were very impressive and will beat Souths when they play them at home in the next NRL round.( Tip for the tipsters!)

Has anyone else noticed there are no NRL games scheduled for this weekend on Bet365?

I wonder if its something to do with Premier Sports launching their online streaming service, or if they've forgotten to put them up? Hopefully they've just forgotten, but I doubt it!

i agree with you, but you will still find plenty of the usual suspects on the VT who think the NRL is only slightly ahead of superleague and there is nothing wrong with our game

Spot on. It's like watching a different sport. Super League is a load of tut in comparison.

Getting 2 refs on the pitch would be a step in the right direction for SL and would stop much of the slowing down and spoiling, promoting faster, more skilful play

If I had to choose one league to watch it would be NRL. Decent SL games on SKy are getting less and less. Plus the quality on offer is far greater, not comparible to be fair.

I have not missed one yet and only been dissapointed with one game really. The NRL is far superior to our league.

Been disappointed with a few games but generally it gets better n better.
I haven't for a number of yrs prescribed to the thought that everything n r l is awesome and were just poor. Hence the number of players going over n being not just successful but standouts.
That said it's really pulling away at the moment.
The Melbourne v rabbits game other week was nearly origin standard. On that form Melbourne would if you reversed it n Leeds went out there with games under their belts would have put 40 on Leeds bare minimum. Warriors currently sit bottom. That teamsheet is S L top 4 material easy!!!
We need 2refs n 12 teams in this country n a governing body with its head out of there backsides ASAP!!!!!!!!

Two cracking games today , The Storm- Warriors first half was just about the best 40 I've seen all season . Another very good performance from the Roosters again, The new signings are really starting to gel together into a formidable outfit now .

My wife and I went to the Storm game last night and sat at the end for Storms tries in 2nd half , 4 pints of beer , GREAT tries and game
