[quote="BP1":1lwvq459]Quite obviously, I don't know exactly where this process is at (does anyone I'm beginning to wonder!), but for the integrity of the sport the situation needs to be solved not only quickly but correctly. The game does not want to find itself in a situation 6/9 months down the line with Salford in an even bigger mess than they are now due to a lack of diligence being carried out into this affair simply in order to bring about a swift short-term resolution to the whole mess. We have seen this happen before, and in other sports too, the end result of which is an even bigger hole to be dug out of. A number of EFL football clubs have sunk into an even deeper mess after a so-called 'knight in shining armour' came to 'rescue' them from the pit.
Either way, this situation cannot be left to fester on for too much longer. Many more repeats of the Saints game will make a mockery of the entire competition. What if Salford end up putting out a reserve/youth team for, say, 9/10 games and then suddenly start fielding a full strength 17 chomping at the bit to get restarted! How does that equate into a level playing field for all concerned.[/quote:1lwvq459]

I don’t know, Rovers are going to milk all the ‘1985’ stuff when the inevitable happens so why not get any mileage out of making them look silly with the years of you’ll never win at Wembley stuff.
Wouldn’t have been my choice of flags TBH but just glad they’re doing little things like this especially anything making home feel like ‘home’ again. They really seem to get it.

I dunno, just don't like us dining out on the cup wins (as awesome as it was) almost 10 years on. I'd rather have one with 'in any kind of weather' on instead.
Not to mention last year too much, but Liam Tindall has signed for London. I make that 5 out of the 9 players signed ahead of the 2024 season now in the Championship, Diakhate and Nu Brown are free agents too
