It’s a fine mix imo. Developing youngsters must be of paramount importance for any club. However, the quality is not there for there to be no overseas players at all. The overall quality of RL in this country would simply decrease without a mix of our Australasian friends.
I feel for the Bulls players in this and expect the RFL to be flexible with some of the rules in an effort to ensure as many Bradford players as possible find another club should the situation get that bad. Allowing any Bulls players to be exempt from the cap or the quota for the duration of the deal they have in place with the Bulls surely isn’t too much to expect?
