Lets make this simple. AP said your signings would be top class, in the same mould as Ellis. Out of your 3 signings so far, this is only true on one occasion.
Losing Manu and replacing him with Ellis IMO is not a step forward, more of a like for like. Manu has consistantly been your top attacking player and a player teams fear.
Again signing Arundal is more a like for like after losing Turner, but how Arundal goes, nobody is really sure. He looked good in his debut season but has spent the majority of this season injured.
Watts as most of us Rovers fans know he has the potential but as for applying that well, lets just say he has shown very little of it in his last two seasons. An improvement, who knows!
With the rumours surrounding the club regarding players wanting out, the running of the club been a shamble, it could well be a different FC side we see out next season. AP has alot of work to do regarding ingoing and outgoing players, I suppose we will see what true ambition he has in the next signings brought in.'"
Manu for Ellis = like for like, I laughed that hard when I read that I nearly wet myself and then stopped taking your post seriously.
However, everyone understands that Watts is a gamble, but provided the club have covered the bases with a tight contract, one they can't really lose imo.
With regards to Turner, apart from a 6 week period earlier this season, he has been nothing but average in his time at Hull imo, so Arundal won't exactly have to pull up any trees to be an upgrade.
