i'm not really a fan of minutes applause/ noise. the spontaneous george best one at old trafford was awesome but the rest seem tacky to me. i'd go for a minutes silence everytime.
i get a bit sick of these things though as i think they do far too many at rugby matches, think this one was easily justifiable though given the circumstances of his death.
