ditto, very emotional, and although I've never met Mr Thornton (RIP), I still felt inside emotion for the fact we have lost an 'old faithful'. I'm sure he was smiling down on us x

I thought it was a good tribute to a man who was passionate about his team.

Me too, thought everyone gave him a great send off.

Were a family club in a family sport and he was part of our family so it was a nice touch

i'm not really a fan of minutes applause/ noise. the spontaneous george best one at old trafford was awesome but the rest seem tacky to me. i'd go for a minutes silence everytime.

i get a bit sick of these things though as i think they do far too many at rugby matches, think this one was easily justifiable though given the circumstances of his death.
