Excellent interview with ME in today's League Express.
They have done a bit of digging into his companies first and found that Trinity (Spirit of 1873 Ltd) is now officially owned by Silkstone Finance Ltd (who own DIY Kitchens) which turned over £92 million last year with an after-tax profit of £20.5 million.
ME states that he brought his digital and analytics people to BV last week with a view to improving our digital operation and is also going to blanket-cover Wakefield with a promotional flyer to promote the club even further.
He goes on to say that he went to see Gary Hetherington at Headingley last week who told him that he would like to see the old Leeds/Wakefield rivalry return and then states that he wants another 6 or 7 players to complete next season's roster but that some may come from a dual-reg agreement as well.
He intends investing between £1.3 and £1.7 million next year to try and get us to where we want to be.

They have current assets worth over £100m, plus ME and his dad are now both the only directors of spirit of 1873 ltd

Excellent interview and so positive from ME and DP. Plus so many good plans in the pipeline. My positivity levels have gone off the scale after listening to that.

Nothing but massive positivity from ME and Powell. I liked the fact we are running reserves next year and they see the same holes we've got to plug as most fans and that Powell wants a squad of around 34.
I liked the ideas of what they had in mind for the west stand and making it a bit different, potentially having a flat seated area for hospitality. Plus the plans for a players area for them to unwind after a game instead of going for a coffee in town. Also, we seem to have a decent name from what I can make out to become the new Academy coach. Plus loads of other impressive ideas of plans I've already forgotten about.

We've brought top players over before but I agree, getting someone involved this much is a good sign.
Again though, managing expectation, Powell said hes working on the Championship team and also the proposed SL team for the year after. He isn't recruiting a NRL player fir this year I'm sure. They'll be from lower leagues for now.
