Be a huge lift from the supporters when he comes on.

We currently don't have anyone even remotely close to what Dave and T's connection was to the fan base.

My hope is he installs something clearly our coach hasn’t been able and that is what it is to play for Wakefield Trinity. He may have to kick some of their proverbial bottoms which I am sure he is more than capable.

Be good to see the big fella coming back- he seriously cannot be any worse than some of the guys we currently have and by god he’ll lift the team and the supporters!

Huge huge loss when he went back home and then to be replaced by a player who couldn’t lace his boots and it has been a disaster to say the least both on and off the field since he left . If he did the unimaginable and kept us up it would be a close run vote for his or Fox’s statue outside the ground ( tongue in cheek) ! . He’ll definitely see a marked difference with the skill sets and attitude from his stay at the club ,and hopefully he’ll bring that feel good factor to the place as a whole , because it’s been way too long since we saw Dave steamrollering his way to the line at Cas ,and taking a boat load of players over with him . Good luck Dave you’ve answered the call and I hope your stay is a fruitful one .

Will certainly give the place a lift but most of his impact will be off the field rather than on it i should imagine given the time it will take him personally to get up to speed.

He’s been playing over there all be it at a lower level but the games is taken so much more seriously over there so he’ll be in decent shape. He won’t be any less fitter than Atoni and proctor and he’ll put on far more effort and desire so it’s a win win

He's only played 3 games i think because of injuries so it will take him a while. But yes they'll definately be no lack of effort on his part. Might even get an offload or two as well now.

his legacy is a cult hero now ,is he then remembered as being in the side that took us down - a front rower who plays for a half a game of the nech is not going toget us the 5 or so winsin 12 games we would need to stay up . i dont get it

As said many times DAVE along with ,Miller, Arona, Tupu were 4 great overseas players ,that coverd up the shocking decisions made by Coaches on signings over the last 4 years ,and were the reason we stayed in S L .We now got a squad were 15% are not good enough, and 70% are far too old to play Rugby never mind S L. Dave will always be a legend at Wakefield. Fans will still love Dave .but it does show how shocking our recruitment of overseas and squad building as been this year ,that Dave can come over to play and not look out of place

I don't think Dave will harm his hero status whatever happens in the next few months, we literally cannot get any worse so whatever he has to offer will be an improvement

Don't really expect him to do much playing wise, but will definitely give the supporters a timely boost.Never thought I'd need to be saying this, but nice to have t'lad back.

At least he will give it a proper go and unlike most of the squad, he has the ability to win a game or, inspire others to perform.
