It’s say they have sold well over 6,000of their 9,999 capacity for the game ,and sure wakey get a slice of the gate receipts

This could end up pulling in more cash than usual for the fixture now that it's being made available to all? Be just like old times having it on TV.

Yes we do, it was 50/50 at one point but whether it still is I don't know but it's a nice little earner for us.

Maybe all receipts have always gone to Rhinos, as its their ground with associated costs, and they pay Trinity whatever is owed?

Know you can’t read much if anything into a friendly like this , but will be great to see the lads running out at headingley whether on tv or on the terraces .Bring it on .

This will be the first time since this fixture has being running ever (discounting year as it wasn’t on) that I will be missing it

Originally this fixture was part of the Ellis deal and it was 50/50.

I suspect after costs it still is. However Headingley now offers so much off field facilities that generate cash it would be hard to begrudge them that.

All the same I reckon we get a healthy five figure sum, not to be sniffed at for very little effort on our part.

We’re giving the game a miss this year, but will definitely be watching online. Price seems cheap too.

Bought my tickets several weeks ago, don't think have missed a game since we started playing leeds, its part of our Christmas routine, we've seen some decent games over the years. `Leeds are starting with 22 players only prior and their new winger unavailable, so whilst you can't read much into the first friendly of the year it would be good to put decent performance in.

Picked up my free exchange ticket + one purchased weeks ago. Looking forward to getting on that Western Terrace once again.

With covid about pity that they can not do this for all away matches for all fans .And come to some agreement to give so much of the proceeds to the home club .

Wonder if the game will be available for viewing at a later date on either our league or TrinTV ? Always like to re-watch the games with the reduced stress some time after.

I’d be very surprised if we didn’t sign Minns on a one year deal tbh, he’s not much of a risk as a player or financially.

The other lad is far more of a gamble.
