Surprised nobody else mentioned this yet but when I checked on Facebook this morning there was an article pop up that wakefield have confirmed 3 signings in Hood, langi and Lineham.

Can’t seem to find it now but definitely read it.

If it’s true the. Happy with Hood and Langi. Maybe Lineham will be good on the right wing but I’ve been warming to Kershaw on the right.

Hood ripped us a new one when we played Leigh, whilst not a world beater he's an experienced dummy half who moves the team forward and we've really missed that this year, so much so Liam Kay has looked the most adept at that role.

Lineham, decent winger, big lad, can finish, Langi, again decent, might mean one of the centres are off,(Tupou?).

Given the way our trans been performing decent enough, guess at least one of our quota players is off.

Still think our priority is a decent prop, do think tiny has looked to be moving towards the end this season. Green just hasn’t shown at all and we were one prop light when we got rid of tangata

Remember we’ve had a quota spot free all season so it may mean someone is going. However if we are after an NRL prop then I’d suppose Tupes would be the most likely.

I really like Hood, think he would be a great addition to the squad.

Langi played stand off at les cats if I’m not mistaken but now at centre , powerful player and a handful whichever position he plays . Hood should give us a boost from the play the balls and lineham if he’s come to play is a proven try scorer ,so positive signings for me .

Lineham is a bad signing for me if true really dont rate him.hood not fussed either way he as sone decent games langi i really like but does that mean we are having one of our quota spots in stands every week to me he is a centre who can cover stand off and i really dont see reece been left out so its only leaves bill or jacob.

Lineham is a quality player imo but ruins himself by doing idiotic things.

I’d be happy with all three to be honest but not an ideal situation to have signings complete with a new coach incoming, i guese it is what it is

We've already got wingers who don't get the ball and centres that get pedestrian service, so can't see why these players will make a difference.

That was under Chester lets see what willie can bring to the party first.

Fair enough but why sign players we already have covered?

How do you know if we have got these positions covered, how do you know who will be at the club next season?

Out of 13 players that are OOC at the end of the season, there's Greensmith, Kershaw and Arundel that are wingers/centres still to be offered deals.
That leaves us with Lyne, Tupou, Kaye, Johnstone and Murphy.
So signing Lineham and Langi means someone will miss out, surely it would be better to re sign Greensmith and Kershaw as backups to the first choice?

Happy with all 3 of these if they are true.

Like I said previously, I'll wait until I see the bigger picture; the band of 3 haven't been confirmed by the club anyway (unless I've missed something)

I never said they'd signed either, just strange that we are 'rumoured' to be signing them when our needs elsewhere are greater.

The winger maybe but Senior won’t be staying so effectively we need cover.

All are logical signings, whether they will be good players who knows.

Did I mention Hood? No, only the backs, read properly before having a go, you seem quite good at jumping down people's throats without thinking!

Although we need a couple of props, these arent the worst 3 signings that we've made over the past dew seasons.
As long as there is at least on (hopefully two) decent forwards on the shopping list, we are going the right way.

Brilliant signings bearing in mind we signed broughy and Ryan Atkins both 34 ish so for me it’s a no brainier
