Yes it was blatantly obstruction and you are right some you get some you don't especially with no TV camera's. Just about the correct result in the end.

Penalty was for continued ref abuse.

IF we had taken our chances we would have had the game won but we didn't and we paid the price. We have to get smarter but it was a good effort and we're not a million miles behind the likes of Leeds.
Not sure that any of the missing players would have made a difference.
Leeds were the better team on the night.

Dont think the first two tries to Leeds should have stood.

First was a knock on a play the ball, and the second was forward a mile.

How was that tackle just before half time not punished with a card, or even put on report.

That said, we had plenty of chances in the second half to win.

No lack of effort tonight, but just not smart enough.

Leeds didn't make as many errors as us and our kicking game was awful. However, the silver lining is that we have several 1st teamers to come back on and only lost by 2. Have a rest, dust ourselves down and get to the semi finals.

We seemed to stand far too back from them an gave fifteen metres before placing a hand on them.
Three things cost us the game in my opinion: a) the blatant forward pass that gave them their first try, b) our failure to go for the two points on that first penalty in front of the post and c) the shocking pass from Grix when their line was wide open.
Ah well, bring on the next game. Our first defeat after seven wins would have to be against bloody Leeds

We looked a bit tired at times and losing Fifita after only his second touch didn't help. A few players out injured, a few rested, and a couple returning from injury and still only lost by 2. Won't lose any sleep over that defeat.

OK so Grix had a few of his brain-farts and Finn's last minute "Wide to West" moment didn't really help.
Leeds won that because of their last play kicks. Sky high bombs with snow on them in a swirling wind versus little dollies over the top straight into the arms of the fullback.
Lets hope the decision to rest players for Thursday pays off else it's a double wammy by Chester.

Wakefield are a good side this season, league position/ results and their willingness to dig deep (when I've watched them) are testament to that. We could have easily caught a cold in this fixture, but the Rhinos dug deep themselves. An exciting game and credit to both sides. As said, some very tired bodies.

Leeds made fewer errors and as said kicked better. Think we missed Arona, Huby and Kirmond for real go forward. Fifita running straight at Ferrers who put his shoulder straight into his knee also led to o an early exit and playing with a prop light. Hope he is OK for next Thursday



BJB had a bit of a nightmare with the high kicks.
Sio and Annakin were poor in my opinion and don't break tackles, Trin need greater strength in depth. Should give Crowther a go. Allgood played well and put in some decent hits.

Not the best game to watch both teams looked tired but gave Leeds a match.

Agree with most points made.

Our kicking game was crap, theirs was good.
Our brain farts were too numerous to mention.
Biggest mistake of night was after about 10 minutes in second half, penalty under posts, Clawson runs out with kicking tee. we refuse 2 pts and F up next PTB!!!! that decision cost us a draw.

Having said all that, to play that bad with a below strength side and miss out that narrowly shows how far we have come.

Cost us the win, I think. Leeds scored back to back tries straight after and momentum switched.

We made too many too errors and had a terrible kicking game, simple as that. Grix & BJB had games to forget and we were nowhere near smart enough with ball in hand. Still don't have to wait long to put it right. Sounds like Fifita will be struggling for the cup game which is a blow.

Yeah our kicking game was bad.
Grix and BJB are both instantly forgiven because they are both part of the reason we are so high in the league.

Good guess (as Bentham was sht) but wrong, Finn was 'Down Town' after the offside Leeds players had forced Grix into losing ground

2 big errors cost us the game. Not sure who shoots out of the line to close Moon down but doing so and not getting anywhere near him sucked too many bodies into the middle giving them space out wide. The dropped bomb they probably weren't communicating as BJB was waiting and Grix probably should have left it for him but instead bumps into him.
