Crowther was has good as anything on the park. IMHO

or he has decided to have a crack this year not knowing If he is assured of a starting spot? plenty of completion this year

On Germonds last two seasons form and Crowthers Boxing day form then Crowther gets in the team ahead of Gerrmond, Germond needs to prove himself in pre season games to show he is still up for it. For me Germond was a one trick pony and that trick was playing outside Tim Smith who lets be fair had the ability to make any of his runners look good. That said Germonds great skill was understanding what Smith was going to do and the lines he needed to run. The result was a place in the dream team ..... all down to Tim Smith

Typical daftness from you. So lets get this straight, Kirmond was the only player we had smart enough to run off Smith and Sykes and thus win us loads of games and yet somehow that diminishes him -

Lets not forget the last couple of seasons Kirmond has played a lot of games carrying injury when he should in reality not have more so in the terrible season we had in 2014 when short in numbers Kirmo was one who put his hand up. Give the guy some credit he could have just laid back and rested up but we were short in numbers so he gave it his best shot. We now have a squad where if a player is injured he can be rested I think we will see some of the old Kirmond back this season.

There was nothing wrong with Kirmond's performance at Headingley. He was one of the stand out players.

True, I thought his leg drive in tackle was back to his best and he looked hungry.

Don't get the undercurrent of animosity in some quarters against Kirmond. Yes he may not have been at his best to say the least at times for whatever reason, but he strikes me as a decent, honest pro deserving of respect

Agreed he looked the part and took some tackling. He will be first choice alongside Ashurst IMHO with Crowther getting plenty more games this season.

Somebody has to take Anderson's place n these quarters.
