there is something going on here - on Tuesday night in Australia I watched 2 different programs saying Sam Williams has resigned for the Raiders on a one year deal-I post it on here and by the next day he has signed with us???

Surely It'd say loan then wouldn't it. If he's signed, he's signed and the talks about bringing him here must have been going on for sometime. I can't see there's some clause wriiten into his contract saying he goes back after a year, especially when things can change quickly in the NRL over a year. Also you said the media were saying the Raiders only wanted him on a one year deal anyway, hardly a long contract.

To me it looks like the kind of deal that gets us a good player for a year but from his point of view gets him in the shop window playing in SL and if he plays well, he can either stay or get a gig elsewhere.

There's nothing going on, it's just that you're clueless and got caught out trying to be clever!
