As the title suggests we are playing with no half backs. Smith and miller have to be dropped

I'd play Hall at 6 every week.

Looking at our squad you would think that we have enough cover at s/o , s/h and hooker, the back row seem good in numbers and we should be ok at f/b. However if you are not going to pick from the squad your options become limited. I don't know what's gone on with the club and J S but I would have thought today was the opertunity to give him a run out and change things round a little. The can he or can't he could have been put to the test., and I think the club and the coach missed a trick. You have to think that he must be one of the players the club wanted or tried to off load but with no takers no deal could be done. I wonder if the club want a fee for him or have tried a player exchange. We certainly haven't seen a half back combination for the vast majority of the season. It makes you wonder what a new coach would do.

Dickens is the 3rd coach not to pick him so I'm thinking he isn't an option.
Hodnet would be at SO for me.
I've gone off Hall so I don't think I'd play him until he earns it.

Owen played out of his skin today so I'd keep him at full back even though Reilly had some poor moments.

I'm not against Miller playing fullback but as a stand off Washbrook is higher on my list than he is.

Yea.think Jarrod should have had a run out today and why is Pita only on for half if match if that.

Why not try new pair at half back

Quite simply Miller needs to sod off, Smith needs a few weeks out, keep Johnstone in with Owen at fullback. Hall and Sammut at halfback. Dickens has done a poor job with the u19s so I doubt his judgement re Sammut, he is probably following the structures Webster put in place.

Scruton and Anderson for me, they couldn't do any worse.

Well for anyone thinking things would change under Dickens I ask why would it he couldn't help get it right as an assistant so nothing changes.Still shake my head continuing with that half back partnership that would fail in the championship.

Our best performance of last season IMO beating Salford 42-6 at home we had Godinet SO with Tim Smith half back. So why not retry this?
Only reason Godinet came to Wakey was out of being frustrated being interchange hooker at NZ Warriors. Miller and Smith isn't working.
